    What do early looks at the Martian core samples tell us? 🤔 🌋This rock is volcanic in origin 🌊The presence of salt indicates the rock was subject to water 🔬And once returned to Earth, closer examination will reveal whether that water was host to ancient Martian life!

    One hour into today’s spacewalk and cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy works with a data cable that will be routed to the multipurpose laboratory module. Meanwhile, cosmonaut Pyotr Dubrov installed three handrails on the outside of the module and now heads to join Novitsky.
