    The regime sentenced Maria Kalesnikava & Maksim Znak to 11 & 10 years in prison. We demand the immediate release of Maria & Maksim, who aren't guilty of anything. It's terror against Belarusians who dare to stand up to the regime. We won't stop until everybody is free in Belarus.

    My heart is with the families of the 9/11 victims. 2996 innocent civilians had lost their lives. I feel the pain & grief of the American people. I'll never forget the horror of watching the towers collapse. The terror should not have place on earth.

    Inhumane conditions in prisons of Belarus – the regime’s tool to terrorize people. We must continue our struggle, release & rehabilitate all Belarusians imprisoned on political grounds. We can't allow the regime to break people's lives because they wish to live in a free country.

    Siarhei Verashchahin was sentenced by Belarus' regime to 5 years in prison. Like for many polit.prisoners, his conditions of imprisonment are horrifying. He loses eyesight & denied proper medical treatment. He isn't allowed to be visited by family, correspond, receive parcels.

    Dzmitry Hopta was jailed for 2 years in Belarus arising from street protest in Zlobin Aug 20. Dzimitry has special needs. The sentence was wholly disproportionate. Dzmitry & over 650 political prisoners in Belarus should be freed to be with their families. ⁦⁩

    I was glad to meet the head of 🇵🇱 Jan Emeryk Rościszewski at the forum. Polish banks can assist Belarusian businesses & individuals temporarily relocating to 🇵🇱 because of repressions. New Belarus will also need investments & partnerships - we have to think about it now.

    We demand immediate & unconditional release of all political prisoners, including Maria Kalesnikava and Maksim Znak. There are 649 political prisoners. These are all innocent people that dared to challenge the dictator. We won't stop until all our friends & loved ones are free.

    Had a productive meeting with vice-president . Last week, we had already met EIB president Werner Hoyer & agreed to pursue EIB support to Belarusians. Our goal is to turn the ideas into concrete actions to help Belarus in the transitional period & later on.

    Deeply grateful to Minister for a warm welcome in 🇵🇱. So many Belarusian refugees, media & activists found a safe stay there. Lukashenka's regime is taking revenge by creating a migration crisis. It's only the regime's provocative policy is to blame for it.
