At present, status emoji are shown in the buddy list, but are not displayed elsewhere. To make them easier to notice (very useful if someone is on vacation, for example), we should display status emoji in a couple of other places where the user's name in shown:

1. In the message feed for messages sent by the user.
2. In the list of PM conversations in the left sidebar.

When I use latest rest client, it brings with it a dependency of an old async http client (httpasyncclient-4.1.4.jar).
This client is no longer maintained. See its github page: https://github.com/apache/httpasyncclient
