For enumerations defined in proto3, the switch statement generated by pbjs triggers the eslint warning default-case since there is no default case. This should be added to the list of eslint-disable rules in the header comment of the generated source file.

This protoc plugin already has already schema on buf.build: https://buf.build/envoyproxy/protoc-gen-validate, but it only has proto definitions included, so I made also a plugin, which can be used remotely - https://buf.build/jirkad/plugins/protoc-gen-validate

It would be fine to have this plugin in the official buf.build repo also as it makes generating code using remote plugins super e

This might be faster:
git clone /path/to/base/head/startup-os

We could also probably do:
git clone file:///path/to/base/head/startup-os --depth=1

Both the protolock tests and the plugin checks should be fairly straightforward to convert into Actions format.
