    Remember that time that Rolling Stone & Salon had to add so many corrections to RFK Jr's anti-vax article that Salon editors finally threw up their hands & retracted the whole piece? RS, a bastion of accurate journalism, kept it up however.

    Agree w/ that a 1 size fits all conditions decision suppt tool maybe isn't likely, but I'd note that there are tools that have been shown to be effective & reduce errors & improve pt. outcomes.

    Fine points made re what patients can do to avoid misdiagnoses. Come prepared, ask Qs, push for As, accept uncertainty's involved. Agree, but there need to be more tools/strategies to support shared decision making for both pts & docs. Onus on both.
