Hi there 👋 My name is Heysem

I make 📱 mobile apps for 🤖 Android and 🍎 iOS (sometimes just for fun), I'm pretty good at designing my own 🎨 UI/UX and then converting my designs to real projects. Up to date I crafted and delivered more than 20 projects. 🚀

These are some of the projects I made and most proud 🫶 of:

  • 🎒 School Planner (Android, iOS) - a powerful organizer for students' school life.
  • Habit Tracker (Android, iOS) - Change isn't easy but this app will help you get there.
  • 🍅 Pomodoro (Android, iOS) - a beautiful stopwatch for organizing work hours.

I also love GitHub and its entire community 🥰, It never ceases to amaze me to see how projects evolve rapidly when everyone gives a hand so I constantly try to work on contributing to open-source projects.

Check out some of my open-source ⛄️ projects here:

  • 💭 Stringz - a lightweight editor for localizable XCode projects.
  • 🌟 RatingStart (Android, iOS) - an implementation of a beautiful concept (not mine) of rating view as a star shape.
  • 📝 react-native-js-tableview - a react native table view component that looks and feels like the native one for both Android and iOS.

Also check out my 💬 StackOverflow, 🔗 LinkedIn, and 🐦 Twitter profiles, and if you play chess maybe send me a challenge on Lichess.

Brief

  • 🔭 I'm currently designing illustrations and explanatory material for an open-source article explaining machine learning and artificial intelligence fundamentals, Check it out here if you're interested in learning about AI. (It's in Arabic)
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning the basics of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • 🤔 I’m looking for help with improving Stringz app.
  • 💬 Ask me about Android, iOS, ReactNative, and mobile development in general.
  • 📫 Reach me out on Twitter, Or drop me an email.
  • Fun fact: I started my coding journey with Visual Basic 6.0 when GoTo statements were still a thing.
