There is a high probability that this library has some bugs/memory issues/etc. that may be hard to catch etc. It might be cool to rewrite it in Rust for bulletproofing. Although we don't use it anymore in SWM, this may be a cool exercise for some interested contributor, I'll be happy to mentor someone.
