Currently the only way to edit the automations is through the sql database. It would probably be nice if we could edit those using the ui.

I would like to document the process and structure of developing an addon, so I can learn and share this information in a how to guide. The perspective it would be written from is beginner. I have done a fair bit research and could not find any information I could understand as a layman.
