Eleventy is a JavaScript-based alternative to Jekyll, built by @zachleat. It can transform template files of various formats into HTML. Eleventy's mascot is an opossum suspended by a red baloon.
Eleventy Image has all the functionality we need to generate images in the picture shortcode, including an example of synchronous usage.

Add support for JSON CSL
Use JSON CSL as input since it's the web-friendly reference format that can be exported by popular reference managers.
Going forward, focus efforts more on JSON CSL parsing rather than legacy bibtex standard that does not support modern publication types well.
I'd like the focus of tiny-helpers to be very narrow. It is a good idea though to include links to other developer resources collections to the site.
