    I completed 's Deep Learning in Python 2nd Ed a couple days ago and it is even more impressive that the 1st Edition which I read four years ago. Even if you're a DL expert,I strongly encourage reading through this book especially Chp 14 where lucidly describes

    One thing FB and its employees appear to do a lot: covert negative marketing, i.e. plant disinformation about stories they don't like or about competing products.

    Facebook board members Peter Thiel & Marc Andreessen encouraged Zuckerberg to push-back against the wave of criticism instigated by Frances Haugen's leaks—FB operatives later pushed a narrative in conservative media that she was pawn of Pierre Omidyar.

    Culture flows from the top. Developers who are absolute trolls end up with toxic user communities. The only ones who seem not to be able to perceive that toxicity are the trolls themselves.

    If you develop a framework and you spend your time "anonymously" attacking your primary competitor via fleets of sockpuppet Reddit accounts, hate emails, and even GitHub issues, then you're a bad person.

    Thread that brilliantly captures why I don't like OKRs. I want to do great work and create something I can be proud of. Numbers are never what really matters.

    I decided to use OKRs for my person life in 2022 Objective: Be a good dad Key Results: - Tell kids that I love them 3x per day - Get at least 2/3 kids say I love dad more mom by EOY 2022 - Spend quality time on weekends, measured by min 2000 IG likes
