[cling] `error: function definition is not allowed here` when trying to overload `operator<=`

When trying to define an operator in the cling cli repl, the "function definition is not allowed here" error is generated. "cling -version" reports "0.8". Here's a copy/paste of a session to demonstrate the issue:

[Feature Request] Less intrusive method to notify about newly installed apps

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe it.
If I install a new app on my device and then run OABX, it will display this very large (takes up a 1/3 of the screen) and improperly formatted text (vertical text) in the notification (see screenshot).
