Modify format_checkers to add checker name to dictionary allow if needed?

This came up in a few recent pull requests. Because format_checkers adds checker names to some documentation table, any new checker needs to be in the spelling dictionary (unless it's already a dictionary word or already in the list). It'd be cool if we could make format_checkers do that automatically, or prompt the user to do it.
