I can confirm this. 6+ hours several buses crossing every hour and not one foreigner allowed across. We finally made it across and we’re told accommodation at the hotel is only for Ukrainians. No sleep or food in 3 days, walked 20+ km. Why does nationality determine who rests.

Their Police and Army refused to let Africans cross they only allow Ukrainian.
Some have slept here for 2 days under this scorching cold weather, while many have gone back to Lviv.

Re- my husband. He’s never been in the army. He’s a historian/translator. He speaks 7 modern languages, knows Latin, studies Sanskrit. He’s a father to our girls. I couldn’t force him into leaving Kyiv. He regards defending Ukraine as his biggest moral obligation. I am 💔/strong
