Composer 2.3 is nearly ready for a release, and we need your help to help test it and report any regression.

This release is a bit special as it contains a few big changes:

• Upgraded minimum supported PHP version from 5.3.2 to 7.2.5
• Upgraded symfony component dependencies from 2.x to 5.4.x
• Added scalar parameter types where possible, this should not break anything as [PHP

• I am on the latest Poet

pnpm version: >=6.11.0-0

I managed to set up a self-hosted instance of Renovate to check all our Bitbucket repositories, it's launched as a Bitbucket pipelines job.

We opened #808 to discuss how we might use GitHub actions. At the time, this repo didn't have actions enabled. Now that it does, we should try them out for some of the things in that thread.

If CPM_SOURCE_CACHE is set to an empty string, CPM fails with file DOWNLOAD error: cannot create directory '/cpm' - Specify file by full.

We currently don't support compiler options which are two parameters, like -encoding UTF-8, and commas also seem to be invalid in parameters, presumably excluded by some regex...
