Currently, in Truffle Contract, you can set numberFormat to "BN" (the default), "String", or "BigNumber" (note this only affects the output; all of these, as well as BigInts, are always supported as input). Related to metering wasm3/wasm3#127 and being able to run a set number of instructions, I'd like to be able to serialize a paused interpreter's state and deserialize it to a new interpreter instance; very roughly,

It is currently not possible to specify the chain ID for a hardhat network invoked with npx hardhat node through any means other than the config file. This means it is impossible to specify the --chain-id argument in the command line, or execute a chain host pragmatically with hre.run('node', { chainId: 100 }).
