Managing GitHub Apps

After you create and register a GitHub App, you can make modifications to the app, change permissions, transfer ownership, and delete the app.

Installing GitHub Apps

When your app is public, anyone can use the GitHub Marketplace or an installation URL to install the app on their repository. When your app is private, only you can install the app on repositories that you own.

Making a GitHub App public or private
