    I'm 34, been using git for years. For the first time, I just did git reset --hard in the wrong place and lost some hours of complex work. Then 's *brand new* local history feature SAVED MY ASS and I got my changes back. Thank you VS Code! ♥️

    TIL has a "JavaScript Debug Terminal" Any node process you start in that terminal VS code will auto attach a debugger! Here is an example using create-react-app.

    Today's setting: Editor line height Change the height of lines in the code editor Values between 0 and 8 set the line height relative to the current font size. So '3' sets line height to 3x the font size Values over 8 set the absolute line height in pixels
