Also: when you have to have the cook staff come over to chat with me, it’s a warning to me that you don’t have confidence in how you communicate with your cool staff and also indicates you already have a cross-contamination problem

I actually would rather choose items off the menu that should be naturally gluten free and feel more like a regular person eating

I don’t like being reminded of my issues with gluten. When a restaurant brings over the chef to talk to me about the menu and my diet, it painfully reminds me that I can’t eat the foods that I want.

When I get back from vacation I’m going to investigate hiring someone to help me juggle all the projects they I’m currently running I have never been able to find a mentor or coach to work with, and I’m more focused on getting stuff done

5. Guilt. It’s true, there is a bit of guilt that comes with being a remote employee and “not working enough”. Without fixed hours and an office to report to, sometimes guilt strikes and you want to get a little more work done to impress your supervisor or meet a deadline

4. Inspiration and innovation can happen at any time. When I’m out walking the dog and inspiration hits me about how to solve that thing I’ve been working on, I’m going to login and fill out that OneNote with ideas 3/x

2. I work with folks outside my timezone and sometimes schedules are at weird times. I have an upcoming meeting with a VP scheduled for midnight in my timezone. 3. Late at night is when I’m off meetings and can actually focus on analysis, coding, or video work 2/x
