    4, to be released soon, is going to be the first project I'm aware of leveraging Gradle's dependency management "capabilities". This will let the user know they have 2 conflicting Groovy versions on classpath. 1/7

    4.0.0 will support record type, sealed type and switch expression too. Also, Groovy can benefit from the improvement of Java, e.g. new GC, new API, etc.

    Now that Java 17 has been out for about a month, I've written about ten of the features I love about it! If you are still on Java 8 and contemplating moving to Java 17, this overview might help justify the effort. What are YOUR favorite new features?
