'Material you' is an automatic colorscheme based on the wallpaper of the phone(like pywall on Linux). It choses colors that fit but also easy to read against the background. It's a feature from android 12.
Not only that, but to have the homepage adapt from day/night theme of the phone would be a pretty nice feature too.
