Note: This API only applies to project boards. Projects (beta) can be managed with the GraphQL API. For more information, see "Using the API to manage projects (beta)."

List organization projects

Works with GitHub Apps

Lists the projects in an organization. Returns a 404 Not Found status if projects are disabled in the organization. If you do not have sufficient privileges to perform this action, a 401 Unauthorized or 410 Gone status is returned.

`org`stringRequired The organization name. The name is not case sensitive.
Query parameters
Name, Type, Description
`state`string Indicates the state of the projects to return. Can be either `open`, `closed`, or `all`. Default: `open` Can be one of: `open`, `closed`, `all`
`per_page`integer The number of results per page (max 100). Default: `30`
`page`integer Page number of the results to fetch. Default: `1`

Create an organization project

Works with GitHub Apps

Creates an organization project board. Returns a 404 Not Found status if projects are disabled in the organization. If you do not have sufficient privileges to perform this action, a 401 Unauthorized or 410 Gone status is returned.

Update a project

`private`boolean Whether or not this project can be seen by everyone.
