when the decision was leaked, many of us noted that the legal basis was an opening to attack a string of rights that we now take for granted.
today, clarence thomas made that attack explicit in his concurring opinion.
this is now a state by state battle. fight like hell.

I was born in the BX in 1973. The year of Roe. My mom was 22 in college. The ‘decision’ was made but the ‘safety’ the law provided didn’t hit the hood right away. And so my mom made the safe choice. Today’s decision isn’t going to stop abortion. Just safe choices.

I didn't write Wonder Woman, but if you want to argue that she is somehow not a queer or trans icon, then you're not paying attention.
Every time someone comes up to me and says that WW helped them while they were closeted, it reminds me how special the role is.

I couldn’t send the ‘thoughts and prayers’ filling my head right now out to anyone I wanted to wish well. So I’m sending all the strength and love I can muster to the parents and people of the Uvalde community while I pray nobody asks me to share these thoughts I’m sorting out.
