Codespaces organizations

The Codespaces organizations API enables you to manage your organization members codespaces using the REST API.

Note: The GitHub Codespaces API is currently in public beta and subject to change.

About the Codespaces organizations API

The Codespaces organizations API enables you to manage Codespaces billed to your organization using the REST API. This API is available for authenticated organization admins and OAuth Apps, but not GitHub Apps. For more information, see "Codespaces."

List codespaces for the organization

Lists the codespaces associated to a specified organization.

You must authenticate using an access token with the admin:org scope to use this endpoint.

Parameters

Headers

Setting to application/vnd.github+json is recommended.

Path parameters
orgstringRequired

The organization name. The name is not case sensitive.

Query parameters
per_pageinteger

The number of results per page (max 100).

Default: 30

pageinteger

Page number of the results to fetch.

Default: 1

Sets which users can access codespaces in an organization. This is synonymous with granting or revoking codespaces billing permissions for users according to the visibility. You must authenticate using an access token with the admin:org scope to use this endpoint.

Which users can access codespaces in the organization. disabled means that no users can access codespaces in the organization.

Can be one of: disabled, selected_members, all_members, all_members_and_outside_collaborators

selected_usernamesarray of strings

The usernames of the organization members who should be granted access to codespaces in the organization. Required when visibility is selected_members.
