This has also made me realize just how awful spam filters are. A great deal of pain could be solved if any text that contains the word “insurance” and ends with “Text STOP 2 stop” never reached my Messages app by default.

For the path month, I’ve been getting swamped with spam calls and texts for someone named “Sheila”. I can’t tell if I’ve been signed up for spam, or if someone legitimately doesn’t know their phone number and keeps requesting insurance quotes using the wrong one.
