Brush was released from a Florida state prison in 2003 after serving 10ish years of 22-year sentence for second degree murder.
His atty, Blake Ballin, would like to see his bond amount reduced from $1 mil to $200k.

Also if I can take a moment to praise a colleague, no one deserves to be pool reporter like . He's covered this from day one with sensitivity and nuance, reporting the family's wishes, breaking news on fired officers and telling stories about who Tyre was as a person.

Some squad cars are seen here; but no officers approached the crowd.
