Ok, I think today’s action is wrapping up. The rain is starting to pick up, and organizers are physically and emotionally exhausted. Not sure if we’ll see further demonstrations, but reporters will keep tabs and report back. Y’all take care of one another.

The other protest today in Memphis was organized by DeVante Hill, a pastor who was a frequent fixture during the George Floyd protests, who is universally disliked by Memphis organizers. Only about 15 showed up.

This tweet is inaccurate. Initially, I thought I saw some LEOs standing up ahead. When we got closer, there were only civilians. Some squad cars are seen here; but no officers approached the crowd.
