Papermerge Ecosystem

Papermerge DMS is open source document management system for scanned documents (PDF documents, JPEG, PNG, TIFF scans). Its source code is split into two major pieces backend and frontend. Papermerge Organization groups all papermerge related projects under one umbrella.

Following is the list of Papermerge ecosystem major projects:

  • Papermerge - Meta repository, currently used for issues tracking, project visibility and discussions. The source code for papermerge before 2.0 used to be in this repo.
  • Papermerge Core - The heart of Papermerge project. For versions 2.0.x and 2.1.x only backend code is in this repo. Starting with 3.0 both backend and frontend source code is in this repository.
  • Documentation - Documentation repository

Detailed documentation for Papermerge DMS project is available online at https://docs.papermerge.io

Current status - 3.0 2.2.x is in active development and will be released on 31.12.2023.
