QuestDB is an open-source time-series database for high throughput ingestion and fast SQL queries with operational simplicity. It supports schema-agnostic ingestion using the InfluxDB line protocol, PostgreSQL wire protocol, and a REST API for bulk imports and exports.
The project is built from scratch in zero-GC Java, C++ and Rust, without code dependencies.
Our live demo includes a NYC taxi trips dataset of 1.6 billion rows, market data ingested live from the Coinbase API, and a geospatial dataset. Our real-time market data dashboards are powered by QuestDB and Grafana.
We are always happy to have contributions to the project: source code, documentation, bug reports, feature requests or feedback. To get started, go to good first issues, check out our contribution guide and propose some changes by forking the repo and opening a pull request.
See our public roadmap at public roadmap and let us know if you have any suggestions. As a sign of our gratitude, we have QuestDB swag that we send out to our contributors 🙌.
We're on the lookout for talented people to join the QuestDB team in these roles:
