How to Conjucate French Verbs Into Future Tense

Future Simple is used to describe things that will happen in the future.

  1. The endings for regular verbs are: ai, as, a, ons, ez, ont
  2. Drop the E on the end or ER verbs befor adding the endings
  3. Example: PARLER: Je parlerai, etc.
  4. With IR: FINIR: je finirai
  5. With RE: VENDRE: Je vendrai

  • Some frequently used irregular verbs are
  • Aller= J'irai, tu iras, etc.
  • Avoir= J'aurai, tu auras, etc.
  • Être= Je serai, tu seras, etc.
  • Pouvoir= Je pourrai, tu pourras
  • Savoir= Je saurai, tu sauras
  • Vouloir= je voudrai, tu voudras
