Inferences are what help you keep your projects looking correct and balanced. Read this article to learn how to use them.

    Create the object that you need to have points with the same height.

    Go to the other point where you have the leg that you want to add.

    Using the Push/Pull tool, raise the leg. While still holding down the mouse key, move it over to the other leg that you want to match the height of. Then the one leg will match, exactly, the length of the other one.

Locked Inference

    Using the Pencil tool, create the point that you want to use the inference. Put it at the angle that you want it.

    Hold down the shift key.
    Hold down the shift key.
    Hold down the shift key. This will make the line thicker. Take it to the point that you want it to go to. It can be anywhere.
