Our goal is to categorize these articles. Categorization keeps everything in order. It provides a logical and convenient browsing experience. It inspires new articles in areas of expertise, and identifies abundance or duplication of articles.

These statistics are based upon an evolving list where new articles are added on a daily basis. Uncategorized articles, prior to the onset of this project, can also be found using the Search Tool at the upper right of any page.

  • This project began on September 1, 2008. At that time, there were 440 articles in need of categorization.
  • On September 7, 2008, 213 articles remained; a 51.6 % reduction.
  • On September 15, 2008, 125 articles remained; a 71.6 % reduction.
  • On September 20, 2008, zero articles remained; a 95.7% reduction. Nineteen articles could not be deleted or categorized as they were not articles 'per se', but videos or other stuff.
  • On March 30, 2009, 68 articles remained.
  • On May 10, 2009, zero articles remained.
  • On July 10, 2009, 578 articles remained.
  • On August 4, 2009, 2 articles remained.
  • On August 8, 2009, 0 articles remained.
  • On August 12, 2009, 52 articles remained.
  • On August 18, 2009, 258 articles remained.
  • On December 14 2009, 1 article remained and couldn't be categorized by non-sysops as it was Spam Blacklist
  • On June 8, 2010, 2529 articles were found needing to be categorized. This is almost six times the original number when the project first started.
  • On November 1, 2010, 0 articles remained.
