How to Make Indian Rice
Indian Rice can be served alongside any curry style dish, mild or spicy, from Korma to Vindaloo. Follow these instructions carefully, starting a step one, to make authentic Indian Rice at home.

1Soak the rice in warm water for 10-20 minutes so all the starch comes out.Ad

2Wash the rice 5-8 times in cold water.

3Drain the rice and put it aside.

4Put a pan on low flame and put olive oil or vegetable oil (Optional) then add Ajwain seeds (Cumin seeds). After putting in cumin seeds, add salt.

5After those two ingredients are in the oil, then put the drained rice into the pan.

6Stir them once, then put a lid over the pan and put the flame on low and let it cook for 10 - 15 minutes.

7Go back and stir them again then turn the flame off and leave the rice in the pan. Remember the longer you leave them the more softer the rice gets.
