We have all had that one teacher that we hate, or just was annoying you that day. Due to this, you might have snapped and quietly yelled at them, or said something snippy. Later, you feel bad and don't know how to say "I'm sorry I snapped at you because I was on my period." If you can, though, you are a very brave kid!

    Cool down if you are very mad at the teacher. You can't say sorry if you are still freaking angry because then it won't sound like you mean it. If it takes a day or two, then try; however, sometimes that teacher is just annoying.

    Don't apologize during class. There are too many distractions and other people in the class. Go before school, after school or at lunch.

    Watch what you say. Some things are mean, but you don't know it. Just saying "I'm sorry", is not good enough; give an explanation such as "I'm sorry I snapped at you yesterday. I really didn't mean it; I was just very angry". If they ask why, say "girl reasons" but that could mean a number of things like you broke up with your boyfriend or something. It is recommended to say "because I'm having woman troubles/problems/it's a bit personal, do I have to tell?

    Don't mumble while apologizing. If you do, it sounds like someone's making you say it, or you don't really want to apologize at all!

    Be calm at all times. Being upset usually turns teachers off, so it is important to maintain a calm attitude when you apologize.
