How to Choose a Family Movie
If you and your family want to have a movie night, here are some steps to choosing appropriate movies to watch!
EditSteps
-
1Think about the age range. Notice the age of the people in your family to make sure to choose a movie of their specific age. A vintage or classic movie might not impress the young kids, just the way 'Mission-Impossible wouldn't be appealing to the older audience in your house!Ad
-
2Think of a genre you would like. A genre tells about the nature of the film i.e. whether its a comedy, thriller, horror or adventure etc. Choose a movie that everybody could respond to.
-
3What do people like? After selecting the genre, choose what type of movie they would enjoy watching. For example if you want to watch a comedy movie then decide what kind of comedy. "Will Smith type or Eddy Murphy type?"
-
4Then make sure the film is age appropriate, if you want a themed night then pick something to that theme and make sure everyone likes it.
-
5Check the parental guide on sites like imdb.com they will tell every single thing you need to consider from sexual content to violence
-
6Have fun!Ad
