Photostream is a service provided by Apple that allows all of an account holder’s photos to be stored on a cloud that is accessible through all of their iOS devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, etc.). However, while handy, you may periodically feel the need to remove the clutter from your photostream. When a photo is deleted off of one device on the Photostream, it is automatically removed from the cloud entirely, and therefore is removed off of all other devices.

Select the photos you want deleted by simply clicking on each one. When clicked, each photo should become slightly faded and have a check mark on the bottom right hand corner.
From the Menu column on the left hand side, click on Photostream. This can generally be found under the “Recent” section. In it, you should find all the pictures stored on your Photostream.

Select the pictures you want removed, and then double click on any of the photo.

Click “Delete from Photo Stream". This will effectively delete these pictures from your Photostream entirely.

1From the Home menu, click on Photos.Ad
2Click on the Photostream tab in the bottom middle.
3In the top right hand corner, click on “Edit.”

5After you have selected your photos, click on the red “Delete” button on the bottom right hand corner.
6Now your pictures are deleted off your phone/iPod, and consequently from your Photostream entirely!
