EditSteps
-
1Ignore your sign. Read absolutely nothing to do with astrology and "The Stars". This means avoiding reading any of the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly astrological forecasts printed in many magazines and newspapers, or online. Easy enough to do when you don't want to!
-
2Don't volunteer your star sign to others who ask. They can then guess away and get it as wrong as they possibly can.
-
3Shrug it off. Ask yourself if it really matters that much to you that some people have to judge others by way of a star sign. If it's not your cup of tea, it's not going to impact your life any after all if they go around spouting nonsense about your beliefs, future, luck, etc. Just leave it be and let it roll off you like water off the proverbial duck's back. Smile nicely but don't engage them in the subject matter and change the topic as soon as possible.
-
4Explain your real interests. Tell them they are being judged from your own belief system or scientific knowledge as much as they are judging you from theirs. This might result in an argument, so be polite.
