    Boot from CD/USB. Connect the CD or USB drive to the computer you want to bypass the passwords of. To set computer to boot from CD or USB drive, one simple way is that press the boot menu key while powering on the computer and then select the CD or USB drive as boot drive. Another way is that press the BIOS key while powering on the computer and access to the BIOS to set the CD or USB drive as the first boot option.

    Locate User Account. After the booting procedure is complete, PCUnlocker will start and it displays a list of local accounts that are detected from the SAM registry file on your local system.

  • Most Windows 8 computers have new safety and protection mechanisms and new BIOS (UEFI), that make this process a little harder. To boot from a CD or USB drive, you might need to disable UEFI and Secure Boot options and enable Legacy support.
