How to Create a Custom Title in the Internet Explorer Window
Did you know that you can customize the title text in Microsoft Internet Explorer? To do so, follow these simple steps.

EditMethod 1 of 2: In IE 6.0

1Go to START -> Run. Enter regedit and press enter to open the Registry Editor.Ad

2Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Internet Explorer > Main. You can click on the + next to each of the folders to open them.

3You should see a list of entries. Scroll down until you see Window Title.

4Double-click on Window Title. A pop-up window should appear with the contents "Microsoft Internet Explorer". Erase these contents and enter your custom title in the text box.

5Click OK.

6Close the Registry Editor. The next time that you open Internet Explorer, you will see the text on your title bar.

1Open Registry Editor (Start>Run>Type "regedit")

2Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Internet Explorer > Main. You can click on the + next to each of the folders to open them.

3Right click on a blank space of the0 right panel and make a new String Value (New>String Value) and name it Window Title, unless it doesn't already exist.

4Double click the new value that you have made and type in the Value Data box what you your title bar to end with.Ad
