    The campaign wrapped up yesterday. Thanks to so many people for so much kind attention. Over 6500 edits in 22 languages. We crushed the edit numbers from previous years! And, as in every year, I learned so much.

    Hoping to get students/young people involved in Wikipedia and public knowledge production on the web? Think about using in this way as a start:

    When our kids were in middle school I tried to interest them in Wikipedia, but asking for major edits was a mistake. I wish I'd thought of . It's a great way for students (or anyone) to make contributions that stick. Also hugely instructive about how attribution works.
