It's this simple: May doesn't intend to ever hold a on her deal. If she was willing to do that, she could do it without Corbyn. So the only question is, will Corbyn play along and stab remainers in the back again to get his Brexit, or will he finally do what's right?

Around Europe, the teams of EU leaders are tuning in to watch the first May-Corbyn exchanges since she asked him to talks on Brexit. They are utterly baffled watching a row about TV licences

Let's be honest. All May wants is an excuse to bring her deal back for another vote. And for that, she needs Corbyn to help her with a new Political Declaration. But what if he helps her, and they both ignore a confirmatory ref? Who's going to vote for it?

May is sinking & trying to drag Corbyn down with her. She'll resign if her deal passes. Even if he wins customs union, it'll be torn up if Boris is PM. Instead of enabling Tory , Corbyn should help win time for a . My column:

Losing one minister is unfortunate. Losing two ministers is careless. Losing 35 ministers in a year suggests you’ve made a bet to see how many ministers you can get to quit before anyone notices...

That we are this bleak hour, Corbyn evidently thinks an election is coming, and so the most important thing to mention is free TV licenses for the elderly. Tells you more than you might think about why we are where we are, that.

It’s not the responsibility of the HoC to deliver *any* Brexit at all. If none of the actual options available match what was offered in 2016 it is absurd to demand MPs deliver it, without checking this is what people actually want.

So really, the chances of getting ANY joint decision through parliament looks very slim. The only chance would be with a confirmatory vote attached. But if May accepted that, then why bother with Corbyn? She could just bring her own deal back, with a 2nd ref attached, on her own!
