Is anyone seriously working on fixing how disruptive ads are to the mobile reading experience? Because what a mess!

Of course on disability and beauty (or ugliness, rather), two of my favorite things to read / write / yell about, is that extremely good shit.

  4. If there is a protest in your city please show up. If you are a college student, ask your university if they’re planning to file an amicus brief. Same if you work in corporate America (Apple for example hires 400+ DACA recipients!)

  5. You’ll hear a lot of research on how vital to the economy immigrants are but wow fuck that. DREAMers are more than their economic impact. They are our family members, our friends, our colleagues. Passing permanent protections is the moral and right thing to do.

  6. The Supreme Court will soon hear oral arguments for a case that will decide whether or not the DACA program will continue. I know everything is on fire but this is important too

Good day to be reminded there is a museum to make us understand the terror and legacy of lynching “More than 4400 African American men, women, and children were hanged, burned alive, shot, drowned, and beaten to death by white mobs between 1877 and 1950.”

Update! email secretary@ftc.gov to let the know it’s not cool to do a splashy press release about consumer fraud but not actually hold the company accountable. It takes 5 mins. If you use Sunday Riley or rely on customer comments on any platform I encourage you to do so.

The Executive branch is required to receive those comments, to seriously consider them, and to fully respond. I know that government feels really broken all the time but this shit actually works.

Regulatory comments aren’t sexy. V people use them but I’d really encourage you to do so. Basically you have the right to participate in the regulatory process through notice and comment.

I also cannot help but notice that there is nowhere to leave a regulatory comment about this . The info was conveniently left off the release and I don’t see any place online to do this? What gives?

Sunday Riley doesn’t even admit they did anything wrong. It’s crickets from Sephora. This is bad when you think of all the ways platforms can enable businesses to post fake reviews. Reviews some of us rely on to make important decisions about what we put on our bodies.
