    In TX28, I’ve heard way too many stories of loved ones dying because healthcare is too expensive. This issue is personal for so many of us. No one deserves to die because we can’t afford healthcare. We need Medicare for All.

    I spent my afternoon knocking doors in La Presa, one of the colonias in . Residents of La Presa lack access to water and paved roads. They call themselves “la colonia olvidada,” the forgotten colony. No candidate for Congress has visited their community in over 20 years.
