Pro-tip: If you depart from Bologna airport, wait until the last possible minute to go through security. On the other side there’s 1/20th the amount of seats as people, pervasive perfume, and terrible mask usage.

Spent the last few days in beautiful Modena with old friends at an event. For everyone it was such a release; the joy was palpable. So grateful as always to @philipdisalvo for bringing me to Italy once again!

Every couple of years they seem to do a push to suck up as many people from civil society as they can. They didn’t succeed with me but they did get another one. I hope that person can change things; I highly doubt it though.
