    I am always holding on to the possibilities of re-imagining by centering us because that's what we need to push for policy changes, esp. around notability and orality. If we want more of us as leaders/creators in this space, we will need love + lots of tough love!

    Local newspapers and TV didn't publized the name the name of Sari Gaspar Corte Real while reporting the case. Would they have done the same if she were black? Sari paid $20K reais, less than $4K USD to get out of jail. That is how much Miguel's life cost her.

    Devastated. Miguel, a 5yr old boy was left alone in an elevator by his mother's employer. He died looking for his mom who was walking the white lady's dog outside the building. Another black mom lost her innocent son, another black family destroyed in Brazil.
