Whenever I report a bug, I need to confirm what satpy version I am using. This is of course important, but it's also an extra step that could be semi-automated.

For some uses cases it would be useful to have an option in the gr_satellites command line tool that skips the demodulator and sends the input the directly to the deframer.

On the website there is a list of things to do. Some of them are easy, some are hard and long, and some are boring. Feel free to do something that is not in the list too.

I made this issue so people visiting this GitHub can see it. For more information just ask without obligation/compromise.

We need a fast algorithm to compute the position of the planets so that we can use in a numerical orbit propagator.
