Anna, I have a question considering articles that look like spam. I periodically see them when I patrol RC, fix spelling or else. Is there any way I can add extra note that they look suspicious? Thanks a lot in advance for the answer!

I took a stab at Recognize the Signs of Autism. Most of the edit's info was pretty good; a significant portion of what I did was formatting stuff to avoid overwhelmingly long bulleted lists. I also used identity-first language per the norm in the autistic community, and removed the "failing childhood" language. (Since I have no personal experience with that, having been ahead on all my milestones, I deferred to other autistic writers who said it was discouraging to them as children. I am sure the editor had no idea that this was a thing.)

Then I added some more information, based on some autism organizations, Mayo Clinic, other autistic writers, and my own childhood as an under-the-radar autistic girl. Autistic people are often left out of autism discussions, so I want to counteract that by including them as sources when relevant.

Tell the editor I said they did well, and it's nice to have them around and learning more about autism (and that they should watch out for those text walls). ;P

Can you help with one thing? I did the merge, and finished. I tried to add the redirect but it became a red link, and I'm sure I put the title right. How can I fix it?

I will say patrolling is a little more complex than I would like. I will learn it better. When I look at a page with edits there is a lot I don't understand about what I am looking at. The old version and new revisions include code that I am not familiar with. I will learn this code and become a better patroller. Mostly I just skip if I don't understand. Thank you again.

Hey Anna, I noticed one of the DragoArt images happened to be approved via the "User Submitted" in the sidebar here - http://www.wikihow.com/Draw-Hello-Kitty . I tried to delete the original uploaded image around midnight (today), but the "whstatic" version is still intact on the article. Is there any trick in removing them from articles, or if they're approved, they're basically "there" no matter what? I was wondering how copyrighted images as such could be removed after the approval process, rather than "declined" ones (which can be dealt with in a matter of seconds).

Hey Anna! Is there any way to "reserve" a topic, as you can "reserve" and article? I want to write an article about a magic ball (origami dragon egg) but I'm sick and obviously can't do it. So is there any way?

I noticed that someone else left a speedy deletion on an article which was apparently started by that user called "How to shoot up a school". However the user who left the notice on the article didn't send a notice to them so I figured I would. It's possible that I got the wrong user though.

Anna, my article has passed the entry-level officiation process. l would like to add pictures in order to make it look more like the 'better' articles. l know how to add photographs, but what are my limitations? For example, l would like to include (in the beginning) a photograph of Rihanna, like the other contact-celebrities articles. l understand that l must take the photograph or find a royalty-free one and it obviously must be appropriate, but are there any other WikiHow rules that l need to follow? If you like sweet drinks/wines, you'll hopefully like umeshu. :) My friends also made strawberryshu with that recipe and said it tasted pretty decent. I was so excited to be able to get a free, working VPN that I wanted to share it with everybody, so that's how I got the name for the article. I do have concerns about the edits. I wanted the edits removed and returned to the original with the illustrations - it was intended as an introductory lesson - I would like it to return to the original. I am always asked if I accept the edits and I really do not.

Case" Statements in Excel Visual Basic just does not fit the Related wikiHow icon boxes at the bottom of articles. Though in my opinion it is completely diferent from Start your business article and, in a some way, contradicting: Be sure it’s unique. vs. Don't try to find an innovative idea ; Make A Business Plan vs. Try to sell product without having a prototype. Sell idea first., etc.

In fact, How to start a business article relates to the business process itself. My article relates to the subject how to make up you mind to start your business (pre-launch and pre-decition actions). Though I do realize that the topics are very similar despite the fact they are tottaly different.

Actually,It was my school exams that made me stop Wikihow work because I need to learn very hard if I want to survive the "Indian-style" of schooling and examination system. I like this site. I like the idea of making information an how to do some kind of skill or trade freely available. I learned guitar making and playing mainly from the internet. The internet is a wonderful way to share knowledge.

I actually just looked up things when I needed to know them, ex: how to bend wood. Don't get me wrong though, I have purchased many books, especially on composing. I think books and the internet are great for people who learn from self study, but nothing beats a real life teacher!
